The habits that we have (or don’t have) define how we move in the world and contribute significantly to our emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
We take a methodical, mindful approach to building patterns of doing and being (i.e., habits) that are in service of those qualities of being and doing (i.e., values) that bring vitality to the lives of each client.
These patterns of doing and being are highly specific to each client and are based on what they identify as important directions in which to move their lives. This practical approach involves the identification of values, setting goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely (SMART) in service of the identified values, and tracking progress--all the while learning the lessons of both failure and success relative to the challenges inherent in the process.
This is a time- and experience-tested formula for growth.
The ACT Matrix is a visual metaphor that we utilize that quickly helps clients get clear about what’s important to them, what action they can take in the world that is in alignment with what’s important to them, while bringing awareness to those things - both internal and external - that could become obstacles to building values-based lives.
The Matrix plays an integral role in creating and maintaining client progress. (See the video embedded in website for a more detailed explanation of the Matrix.)
